Anila Hashmi

Biography
Anila Hashmi is a Medical Scientist and a PhD Candidate . She received her AIMS accreditation (MAIMS) & postgraduate degree in Laboratory Medicine from University of Sydney. Anila gained an extensive working experience as a Supervisor Scientist, Lab Manger & Quality coordinator in public and private labs in Australia & overseas.
Anila's main interest lies in detecting clinical laboratory interferences and evaluating their impact on patient care, review and share the scientific knowledge based on published literature.
In addition, Anila is doing research on the development of novel cancer biomarkers. Her focus is on transferring research outcomes into clinical practice to minimise the uncertainties of cancer patients. Anila believes that: Innovative Science, perseverance & passion can come together to improve patient care.
